Moving your camera lens remotely using Email messages

One camera is located in the center of Japan, in the area of Kansai, in Osaka City.    This camera is being controlled by the software Robot Benri.   You can move the lens of this camera from any place in the world using only Email commands.  

To control this camera, send one Email with some of the following commands written in the field reference or subject.  

Emails must be sent to the following address:

shuser19@deimaging.jp

The commands available for this demo are:

C01   - Move this camera to the origin.  (0, 0)

R01   - Move this camera to the right. (about 45 degrees). 

L01   - Move this camera to the left. (about 45 degrees). 

U01   - Move this camera to the top. (about 45 degrees). 

D01   - Move this camera to the bottom. (about 45 degrees).

Z0130 - Define zoom to 30%.

Z0180 - Define zoom to 80%.

Z0100 - Define no zoom.

I01    - Send to the user by Email one image from this camera. 


This camera can be moved in the following ranges:   Horizontal axis: 180 degrees   (-90, a +90) and Vertical axis: 90 degrees (-45,  +45).

You can send more than one command in one Email message:

Example 1:  C01R01U01I01

Example 2:  C01R01R01I01

Example 3:  Z0150I01

Send your command and wait for a short time.   Then, you will see that your commands are executed by this camera.

Also, you can move the lens of your own cameras using this software Robot Benri.  

You can use any of the available cameras in the market.
