How to start the Robot Benri.

To start the Robot Benri, do the following procedure: 

·      Connect your cameras to your computer.

·      Run the Robot Benri.

·      In the Control Section, define the number of cameras to connect in the field No. Cameras.   Immediately, an equal number of areas reserved to the captured images of your cameras, appear.  

·      Using the mouse of your computer, click on one of the areas created in the last step.

·      Select a camera in the field Video Input.   This field shows a complete list of the cameras which are connected to your computer.

·      Select the audio signal, in the field Audio Input, that will interact with the video signal selected in the last step.

·       Push the bottom Connect. 

The Robot Benri begin showing the captured images of the selected camera.

To disconnect a camera, do the following procedure:  

·      Click on the area reserved to the captured images of the camera that you want to disconnect.

·       Push the button Disconnect.

If you want to be able to send or receive Emails from your Robot Benri push the button EMAIL.

If you want to send videos and images to a Server, push the button FTP.

If the communication is possible, verify that a blue line is shown below the Control Section and above the Image Section.   The blue line indicates the performance given by the FTP and Email communication.   In case that the blue line does not appear, we recommend you to exit the Robot Benri and check all cables and devices which provide the Internet connection to your computer and star it again     

Note 1:

If your computer have an active firewall system, verify that the following programs have enough permission to operate properly:

• Benri_Email.exe
• Benri_comm.exe

These programs are in charge of establishing and control the FTP and Email communication.

Note 2 :

If you do not have your own FTP and Email servers, you can use directly our servers.   First, it  is necessary to install the Benri_Access component in your computer.   For more information, please consult the following link:
