Robot Benri is a software for
surveillance, able to do the following functions:
- Motion detection. If your
cameras detect motion, users are immediately alerted by Email.
- Strange object detection. If your cameras detect a
strange object,
users are immediately alerted by Email.
- Face detection. If your cameras detect a human face, users are
immediately alerted by Email.
- Face Recognition. If your cameras detect a person who has been
previously registered on Robot Benri, users are immediately alerted
by Email.

Robot Benri is able to control up to 16
cameras locally or remotely, including USB and analog cameras, TV
boards, capture cards, frame grabbers, camcorders, and network IP
cameras. The program is able to broadcast captured videos through
Internet. Captured videos can be viewed using any Internet browser.
It is able to detect
intruders, identify strange objects or detect unusual motion and
immediately, emit an alarm sound, record videos and broadcast them
through Internet after sending emails having attached images
of intruders.
You can control your cameras by using Email messages
from any place in the world. In this way, remotely, you can move
your cameras, record videos, take pictures, etc., by using easy commands contained in simple email messages.
Robot Benri has also a
function called Guardian that is
able to detect intruders and broadcast
online images through Internet using Network Streaming
or Publishing Points. Captured content can be viewed using
any Internet browser. Also is able to send emails to users having
several images of intruders.
You can program your
Robot Benri to send you back, periodical emails with images from
your cameras. For example you can receive images by
email every 1, 2, 5 or 10 minutes.
This program is able to
create folders in your computer to administrate all videos
and images which have been taken by your cameras in the past. That
is, it creates a library of files, so
that, you can consult them whenever you want in the future.
You can
schedule your
Robot Benri to record several videos during the day while you are
not at home. Video files are compressed using a
Windows Media Video (wmv) codec, highly
reducing the volume of your videos.
Also you can
schedule your
Robot Benri to take a lot of pictures. All images taken by the
Robot Benri are sent to a FTP
server, so that, they can be observed from any place
in the world.
You are able to send
commands to the Robot Benri by mean of simple email messages, in
order to:
- Broadcast online
video through Internet.
- Ask the Robot Benri to send you back
Emails with attached images from your cameras.
- Activate your
surveillance system by mean of the Guardian function.
- Ask for periodical
emails with images from your cameras.
- Move your PTZ
cameras to any desired angle.
- Change zoom values
of your cameras.
- Record videos-audio
files.
- Take pictures, etc.
Robot Benri is able to
control almost all type of PTZ Cameras available on the market.
This program is able send
you by Email a complete report of activities given during the day.
So that, you can see what happened at home while you were absent.
Of course, all of these
functions can be done from any place in the world. In
case of having a cellular telephone able to send and receive Email
messages, you can send commands and receive Emails with images
directly from your cameras while you are in a bus or while you are
at the office.
